This beautifully illustrated play set features a sturdy cardboard castle box set with window and turret top. Within the casing is a slide-out 'bed' with 7 varied soft fabric mattresses in very stylish shabby chic style design, stripe and floral prints and within the mattresses you will discover the 'pea' which is a crocheted green pea upon which the Princess Mouse sits. The Princess Mouse has a stitched fabric crown upon her head and wears a pretty pale gold and pink dress. The illustrations and decorations within this play set are beautiful and traditional and the extra fun element is that the Castle case can be placed upon the inner case and becomes a tall tower for the Princess to look out from. Where is her Prince? Will the King rescue her?
